Thanks for visiting! My name is Mike Iadevaia (pronounced eye-da-vie-a) and I am a born and raised Long Islander. I am a recent graduate of the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. Attending Hofstra has been an incredible experience for both my personal and professional development. My professors encouraged me to push myself out from my comfort zone because you never know where you’ll find yourself. As a result, I have established a resume with experiences in diverse industries, including politics, public relations and non-profit marketing. 13139015_1713839815530093_8752708638894807018_n

My interests include traveling, going for runs and playing quidditch. I fell in the love with the sport during my freshman year and it has opened so many doors I never could have imagined existed. It is from playing quidditch where I found my love for social media by managing my team’s profiles and establishing a reputation as being a social media expert among teammates and opponents.

I am currently pursuing a career in social media marketing. Based on my experiences, I best see myself at a non-profit and in-house environment. Although I currently reside on the East Coast, I am willing to relocate to the West Coast, particularly Los Angeles or San Francisco, to pursue my career ambitions.
